Recap of Our Spring Wedding Fair 2024

At the start of 2024, we launched something incredibly close to our hearts: The Unsung Hero Award. It was our way of collaborating with suppliers to give back to someone who had faced life’s toughest challenges with strength, resilience, and gift someone who truly deserved a dream wedding. The response was overwhelming. Stories of love, loss, and unwavering determination poured in from across the county. But one story touched us deeply: the story of Grace and Paul.

As we look back on 2024, it’s incredible to see how much we’ve grown, evolved, and celebrated alongside so many wonderful couples. From exciting team changes to fantastic new additions to our venue, last year has been one of transformation and achievement.

Sunday 2nd November 2025 Last Sunday we welcomed over 450 guests to our Autumn Wedding Fair, with more than 35 brilliant suppliers joining us across the barn, cottages and lakeside terrace. It was a busy, relaxed, and inspiring day for couples planning their weddings with us and across Cornwall. Supplier Showcases & Demos The Glam Room hosted live hair and makeup demos from Ashley at Hair from the heart and Tiana, giving guests a chance to see different looks in action and chat directly with the artists. Throughout the day, couples explored a wide range of local suppliers, from florists and photographers to cake designers and stylists, all handpicked for their quality and creativity. Food, Drink & a Our New In-House Catering The weather held out for most of the day, and Spitting Pig kept everyone well-fed with their pulled pork canapés. Meanwhile, Lewis, our Bar Manager, ran wine tasting sessions that were a big hit with couples. We were also excited to share a first look at our new in-house catering, launching in January 2025. Our food concept focuses on locally sourced, sustainable ingredients, using produce from within a 25-mile radius wherever possible. Menus start from £45 per person for three courses, built around feast-style sharing platters and seasonal showstopper desserts. It is food designed for relaxed, social dining that reflects our setting and values.
