Last Sunday was an unforgettable day for the Barn at Pengelly as we hosted our much-anticipated Autumn wedding fair. With over 500 excited guests streaming through the doors and a gathering of over 28 incredible suppliers, it was an event for the books. So busy that we forgot to take any photos!
The atmosphere at Pengelly was nothing short of electrifying. Brides and grooms-to-be, along with their families and friends flocked to our venue in anticipation of finding inspiration and resources for their upcoming weddings, as well as many couples booking their wedding venue on the day!
Our wedding fair wouldn’t have been complete without the incredible lineup of suppliers who joined us. We were proud to host 28+ outstanding suppliers who showcased their talents, creativity, and dedication to making every wedding dream come true. From photographers to florists, celebrants, childcare and bands, our suppliers transformed the Barn into a wedding wonderland.
We had Lewis, our Bar Manager showcasing him Sommelier skills, couples enjoyed tasting the wines and champagne that we offer for their special day. We also had Beetham Food, one of our preferred caterers sampling their mouth watering canapes, and Paul from Spitting Pig providing delicious hog roast rolls to keep everyone full over lunch.
At Pengelly, we consider ourselves a big, extended family. Having our full team present at the wedding fair made it an even more special day. We worked tirelessly to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and inspired, and the dedication of our team shone brightly throughout the event. We took a well deserved spa break the day after to recharge our batteries.
We’re excited to announce that our Spring Fair in April 2024 is already in the planning stages, and the date will be confirmed soon. We’re committed to continuing our tradition of bringing together engaged couples and brilliant wedding suppliers to create magical moments.
